Hi everyone! I am finally getting around to showing y’all my purchases from this year’s Nordy Anniversary Sale! This is my second year shopping the sale so I am definitely a rookie. One question I ask myself all the time though is…why did I wait so freakin’ long to shop this sale?! Most of y’all know that I THRIVE in the fall, so when I get to purchase all the cozy sweaters, burgundy accent pieces, and leopard staples on sale…it’s a big thing. Before I go into showing you all the items I bought there is one thing I want to say. Please, and I repeat, please do not buy into the idea that you NEED to buy EVERYTHING. That is a dangerous and slippery slope to ride. What I absolutely love about the sale is that it has the best basic pieces available. Super affordable and you can wear them over and over and over again in so many different styles! That being said, there are many treat yoself moments you should indulge in! Have you been eyeing a Tory Burch item for quite some time? NOW is the time to grab yours! Been dying for that Madewell sweater? DO.IT. One thing I always say, if you have been contemplating it for more than a month, that means you really want it and girl, you deserve it! Go ahead and indulge a bit 🙂 Okay, now to the fun part! Topshop Double Breasted Plaid Blazer : This is the such a comfortable blazer! I usually get nervous that I am going to she-hulk out of most blazers, but not this one! The plaid acts the perfect touch of Fall to a basic outfit and is a little bit longer so it adds such a feminine touch! I ordered this in a size 12 (fits like a 14) and it’s a perfect fit!
Free People Softly Structure Knit Tunic: This. Sweater. The second I saw it I knew I needed it in two colors! I bought it in BLACK and TERRACOTTA. It is the softest sweater I own! I ordered this in a Large. It is extremely oversized and I probably could have gotten away with a Medium but it still gives me the most perfect oversized look. I can’t wait to style these!
Free People Popcorn Sweater: I was a little nervous buying this because I thought it was going to be too cropped but I was pleased to find that that was not the case! Very flattering and would go perfect with a pair of high waisted jeans and booties. The v-neck adds a sexy appeal to it so it is perfect for date night! Ordered this in the color Cream + Moss. (Moss is by far my FAVE) Ordered in a size Large, runs TTS!
We the Free by Free People South Side Thermal Top: This is the perfect oversized and flowy top! You can either dress it up or down. I’m excited to pair this with a cute bralette and wear it as an OTS top! I ordered a Large and the sleeves are a little long on me, so I might exchange for a medium! Ordered this in the colors CINNAMON + MOSS
Topshop Supersoft Stripe Crewneck Sweater: This sweater, in my opinion, is a great item for the winter! It is super soft and warm. I ordered this in an Extra Large but most definitely need to size down! A Large would have given me a less boxy look from the waist and sleeves so keep that in mind!
Leith Rib Sweater: This wrap top is a pleasant surprise! I was convinced that when I tried it on it would be an automatic return because these types of sweaters aren’t usually flattering on me, but I was wrong! I am really happy with how it fits! It has a ribbed material and stops right at the waist. It would be paired great with some jeans or a high waisted suede skirt! I do recommend ordering a size up! Got mine in an Extra Large.
Long Sleeve Thermal Henley Top: This is my first Henley top ever! I don’t know what took me so long but I envision wearing this on repeat this fall! Super soft and casual. I love basic pieces I can just throw on and conquer my day in! Ordered a size Large, runs TTS!
BP V-neck Tee: I know you all are probably sick of hearing me say this but basic items are where it is at! I bought this tee last year in black and white and did it again this year! They are seriously so perfect for style any fall outfit! I wear them throughout the year and are seriously a lifesaver (and what a steal in this sale!!) Ordered a Large, runs TTS!
Plaid Boyfriend Shirt: GIRL. This plaid top? Yeah, you need it. I am seriously soo in love! It is soft, flattering, and lightweight. It runs a little longer in the back so you can create that perfect front tuck in look! I actuallyyy may go back and buy it in more colors! Ordered a size Large, runs TTS!
Topshop Kota Faux Leather Moto Jacket: This jacket makes me want to ride on the back of a Harley real bad. I feel so badass in it and it is so flattering and hugs me in all the right places! Definitely more of a showy piece than an actual “keeps me warm” piece, but hey! Totallyyy worth it! Ordered it in a size 12 (fits like 14), order a size up if you want it to zipper all the way up!
SPANX Faux Leather Leggings: FINALLY. I finally ordered my pair of Spanx faux leather leggings! They were a huge hit last year and I don’t know why I didn’t purchase a pair but I’m so happy I finally did it this year. Seriously so comfortable and I already have a million ideas of how I want to style them. This was 100% worth the purchase. Ordered in an Extra Large, runs TTS.
Selena Genuine Calf Hair Clutch: I love me a pop of color so why wouldn’t I love a pop of leopard?! This bag adds the perfect touch to any fall outfit. I really love mixing plaid + leopard together. The two prints together add so much fun to a look!
BP Heath Bootie: I may or may not have blacked out when I saw these booties. I knew I needed to restock on my booties so when I saw these bad boys I had to buy them in multiple colors. Booties are something I wear all the time in the fall and winter which is why I always need to restock, I really get good use out of them! I was even happier when they came in and found that they are so comfortable! No *regerts* in this purchase. Ordered a size 10, runs TTS!
Steve Madden Rockstar Genuine Calf Hair Bootie: I know earlier I said I love a pop of leopard but I was thinking this might be too much. Wrong…again! This Nordy sale has got me hooked this year! This is going to be such a fun piece to add to an all-black outfit! I can’t wait to start wearing them! Ordered a size 10, runs TTS!
ASICS GEL-Kayano 26 Running Shoe: I am such a huge believer in ASICS. With having flat feet, I have alwaysss had trouble with sneakers. My feet would always hurt and I just had to push through the pain. The day I bought my first pair of ASICS I seriously never looked back. I actually get so serious when I talk about them because they have changed my workouts for the better. If you have flat feet I promise you will not regret buying these!
